Aftermarket Cruise Control from Autotec
Popular Motorhome Cruise Control Fit:
One of the most common vehicles that our customers would like to have cruise control fitted to is the Fiat Ducato Motorhome. As many motorhomes will be driving long distances to get to their desired locations, fitting an aftermarket cruise control unit would help enormously in terms of the comfort of driving. The Actuator that is most suited to the Fiat Ducato depends on the age of the vehicle; prior to 2006, an AP300 would be fitted, and on anything newer an GC90 would be fitted. The command modules that are most popular for this vehicle are the CM30 and CM25 units. These cruise control fittings normally take around 4 hours, however if you buy the unit from us and fit it yourself it may take considerably longer, especially if you have never done it before. Prices vary depending on the choice of command module and actuator used. Please call us if you would like a quote on your motorhome, and we will be happy to run through the price as well any questions you may have. Popular Car Cruise Control Fit: Another popular choice for aftermarket cruise control is the Ford Focus. The Actuator most suited to this car is dependant on the year of the vehicle; prior to 2005 the car would be fitted with an AP550, and any car newer than that would be fitted with the GC90. The command modules for the Ford Focus are dependant on personal taste, however the CM30 and CM25 are again most popular. The CM8 add on memory module is also popular with customers, allowing input of three preselectable speeds. This cruise control fitting would take us around 5 hours to fully install and road test, however it could take all day for anyone fitting the unit that has not done so before. Prices vary depending on the choice of command module and actuator used. Please call us if you would like a quote on your car, and we will be happy to run through the prices as well any questions you may have.

GC50 (MS50) Cruise control
The GC50 (MS50) is an entry level cruise control kit generally designed to be fitted to older vehicles. Consisting of a vacuum actuator, computer, command module, magnet kit (for speed pulse) and a clutch switch. This is an extremely reliable entry level vacuum powered cruise control system. Despite the low price, this is a well proven system with a 12 year track record with similar control functions to the premium range. This system can be used with any car that has sufficient vacuum to power the servo and a speed pulse within the units measureable range. To prevent over-revving when changing gear in cruise mode a clutch switch is included for use with any vehicle which doesn't have a factory fitted clutch switch. The GC50 (MS50) is supplied with a dash or console mounted command module with touch sensitive controls. To aid installation, it also has a full built in self diagnostic mode to enable the installer to check out the fitting prior to road testing. The GC50 (MS50) will accept a speed pulse from a vehicle if it is present, if not the included magnet kit is attached to the prop shft in order to produce a speed signal for vehicles which none is present.
Vacuum actuator: Ideal for vast majority of vehicles, petrol or diesel. Smaller body easy to mount in engine bay. Best value for money out of the range.
Electric actuator: Modified AP500 with 4 stroke lengths and variable cable length. Universal kit for easier fitting in awkward spaces.
The GC90 is an electronic actuator which interfaces with the vehicle throttle pedals via a vehicle specific or universal T-Harness. The GC90 is set apart from the competition by the in built speed limiter function, the first and only cruise control to offer this funtionality.
The unit offers 3 seperate functions of which the installer can select to activate whichever is necessary.
